On April 10th, Matt Riley was the victim of a hit-and-run accident while riding his moped. Though we’re incredibly grateful that his injuries weren’t life-threatening, Matt suffered several broken bones in his leg and ankle that required two surgeries and will need extensive recovery time. He is required to be non-weight bearing.
Unfortunately, Matt is unable to work during his recovery, and the medical bills are already piling up—totaling over $5,000 so far. His wife, Manda, is his primary caregiver and their only source of income at the moment. Matt’s short-term disability benefits barely scratch the surface of what they need to stay afloat.
