Matt Rhoades is a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather. At 53, he was in the prime of his life. He had it all. A great job, a loving family and great friends. Then there was the diagnosis…….

On May 2, 2024, Matt and his family’s life changed drastically. It was an AV Fistula in the brain that was zapping Matt’s strength. Off to surgery….. then a stroke……then more brain surgery…..he can’t breathe on his own…….a breathing tube……let’s try that again, nope he needs a tracheotomy………and on it goes.

Matt was just released to the Neuro ICU for additional medical supervision and treatment. Praise God! Matt has been hospitalized for the past three weeks and by the grace of God will be able to one day return home to his family. A lot of improvement is necessary before he comes home.

First and foremost we ask for your prayers for Matt and his family and also for the medical team guiding Matt’s medical treatment and recovery.

Matt is the sole provider for the family. The medical bills are beginning to accumulate with no end in sight. We ask that you prayerfully consider contributing to this GoFundMe to help take the burden off of the family until Matt can pick up where he left off.
