Hey yall, we are not usually ones to ask for help, but 2025 has not been good to us so far.

Following a series of unfortunate events early in the year, my husband Matt ended up in the hospital on May 1st with double pneumonia that attacked his heart from Corona virus 229. He had several procedures done while in the ICU and while it looks like he will recover in the long run, he has a very long road ahead of him and will have to be out of work for an undetermined amount of time. He will be going to multiple appointments and starting Cardiopulmonary therapy in a few weeks.

At the same time, I took the month of May off to stay with him in the hospital and then get him started on at home care.

Edit:: What a month May has been. We have the support of some amazing friends and neighbors and I couldn't be more appreciative of everyone. Please know that we love each and every one of you.

I am going back to work on June 2nd. I hate to do it but we need to bring in some sort of income. We will have to survive as a one income house for an undetermined amount of time. In this economy that terrifies me. We will still need support if possible.

Thanks to the support we have received, we are now only dealing with only 1 vehicle with issues, which will be going into the shop next week. We are still waiting for FMLA from work to kick in but have been able to get by on the support we received so far. As a new month starts we are anticipating another pile of bills as well as a continuation of responsibilities and an unknown charge for the one vehicle's repair. With animals to take care of as well as well as a lot of remaining unknowns, we stay worried.
