Recently we have been shattered with the devastating news that our big brother, Matty, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. At the young age of 37, he is in the prime of his life, building his family with his beautiful partner, Emily. Together they have a little boy, Teddy, 20 months old, and another baby boy due in September.

We are hoping to raise money to help support him and his young family, as they are both unable to work during this difficult time. These generous donations will relieve them from major finanical stresses like helping to pay for day-to-day expenses, rent and to prepare for their baby on the way.

For those of you who don't know Matty personally, he is one of those people who really do make the world a better, more interesting place to be. He has the most generous, kind heart, always putting people's happiness before his own, and leaves an imprint in people's lives, no matter how fleeting the interaction may be. A talented musician, artist, and writer, it's not hard for Matty to be so loved by so many. All Matty wants in his life is to be a father to his young boys and a partner to his sweet Emily. We are eternally grateful for any donation, big or small, as we know the positive impact these donations will have on his family and the time they have left together.

A dear old friend of mine and to many of you Matt Nelson has been dealt an awful hand of stage 4 lung cancer. We cannot express how awful this.

In all the time i have known Matt he has never asked me for help for anything and would probably dislike me setting up this Go fund me immensely.  Matt has given back so much to others and now is the time we take care of him.
