Support Matt Murdoch's Road to Recovery

We are asking for help for Matt Murdoch, who is a PGA Teaching Professional at Blue Hills Country Club. This past week, Matt was helping at his in-laws' farm when he fell off a roof. The fall left him with a shattered heel and a broken femur. This fall will put Matt out of work at what is typically his busiest time of the year. Medical expenses will be coming in, and with no income to offset them for the next 3-4 months, this is going to be a difficult time. Any help you can provide will go to helping Matt cover medical expenses and regular family expenses that would normally be covered by his teaching income.

Matt has been working in Kansas City since 2007 when he started at Mission Hills Country Club. As a PGA Professional, Matt has done an incredible job helping his students achieve some incredible highlights, including helping several juniors achieve their dream

of playing college golf. Matt has also volunteered countless hours to helping the Midwest PGA get golf into schools and singlehandedly went to schools in Olathe, Blue Valley, and Shawnee Mission to get their programs started.

While away from the course, Matt loves spending time with his wife, Emalie, and two daughters, Brie and Adrianna. Brie graduated from Shawnee Mission East this year and will be attending the University of Nebraska-Kearney to swim. Adrianna will be starting

school at Shawnee Mission East next school year.
