Support Matt Millar's Professional Golf Journey

Hi, my name is Matt Millar and I am fundraising to enable me to compete on the Betway Big Easy Tour in South Africa for my first season as a professional golfer.

I started my golfing journey aged 12 at Dainton Park Golf Club. I've represented Devon at many levels and the South West of England Men’s team in 2024. After playing golf at Hartpury College I spent three years at Colorado State University Pueblo where I won multiple team championship titles and individual events. For my last year in the States I transferred to Florida Gulf Coast University to compete at the highest level of college golf. For my final year in education I moved back to Exeter in Devon and competed for their University squad whilst completing my Masters.

As of May 2025 I have retired my amateur status and will be pursuing a career as a professional golfer.

I am fortunate enough to have family based in South Africa - so the Betway Big Easy Tour felt like an obvious choice. I will be competing in 17 events across the season with the aim of proving myself as a professional and eventually earning a spot on the Sunshine Tour.

Whilst I have every confidence in my golfing ability, the financial requirement to remain competitive on this tour is a challenge. My family are kindly helping with accommodation when I'm off the course but I still have the challenge of funding my entry fees, travel, caddy, flights, equipment and coaching.

I'm so grateful for all of the support I've received up to this point as it has given me the confidence to pursue this dream of playing professional golf at the highest possible level.

Every donation will be helping me so much more than you can imagine. By allowing me to focus on playing to the best of my ability without being distracted by the financial pressure of living and travelling around with the tour.
