Support Matt McDonnell's Fight Against Brain Cancer

Matt McDonnell, 39 years old, was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a devastating and aggressive brain cancer, in July 2025. He has since undergone two surgeries and is currently receiving both radiation and chemotherapy treatments. We are starting this fundraiser to support Matt and his family as they face this unimaginable challenge.

Matt has been married to the love of his life, Staci, for 17 years, raising four amazing kids together. He has proudly been a firefighter on the Omaha Fire Department for 17 years, a career of service to others. He is an active member in their Plattsmouth community, supporting their schools, church, and owning a local small business.

To know Matt is to love Matt. He is a positive, easy-going, sarcastic guy who wants nothing more than to spend quality time with his family. His goofy laugh is typically heard while sitting around with friends, ideally near a river, lake, or beach.

This diagnosis has been devastating to his family and their daily life. Please consider donating to help us support Matt as he fights for his future. The funds raised here will directly assist the McDonnell family with medical and daily living expenses.
