For those that were not aware, Matt Helm has been out of work for several months due to a serious foot injury.

Unfortunately, Matt’s injury developed into a severe infection that ultimately required surgery to remove part of his foot. During this difficult time, the infection also led to pneumonia and became life-threatening, requiring hospitalization at Providence St. Joseph Hospital. While in the intensive care unit, Matt was placed in a medically induced coma and on a ventilator.

We are grateful to share that Matt has responded positively to treatment. He is now awake and breathing on his own. While this is an encouraging step forward, he still faces a long and challenging recovery.

Matt and his wife are navigating both the emotional and financial strain that comes with this kind of medical crisis.
