Matt Gregory has always been the kind of friend who shows up when you need him most.
From our days in grade school through high school and beyond, Matt’s encouragement and infectious laugh have been a constant source of support for so many of us. He’s the friend who never missed a reunion, who cared deeply for his classmates, and who always found time to help—like the countless hours he spent on the phone with me in 7th grade, patiently guiding me through Pre-Algebra homework. My mom may not have loved the long-distance bills from Fairbury to Chatsworth, but I always knew I could count on Matt’s kindness and generosity.
Now, Matt needs our help. After serving our country in the Army and being a pillar of support for friends and family, Matt is facing a long recovery from a major liver transplant surgery. He’s unable to work for the next six months, and the bills are piling up—rent, utilities, groceries, and medical costs.
On behalf of his daughter Ayla and his family, I’m asking our community, especially the members of the Prairie Central Class of 1993, to rally around Matt.
Your prayers and donations will help him focus on healing and getting his life back.
If you’re able, please consider donating to support Matt during this difficult time. Every bit helps, and together, we can show Matt the same unwavering support he’s shown us over the years.
Let’s come together and remind Matt that he’s not alone in this fight. All donations will go directly to Matt and his family. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
Love always, Corey Schieler
