Lea Chouchane Etzl, wife of Matt Etzl, was hit by a truck on Friday, October 24, while walking with their baby girl across a crosswalk. Their baby was uninjured, but Lea suffered very serious brain damage and is currently in a coma. The outlook is day-to-day, with the full extent of the damage likely unable to be determined until Lea awakens.

Those who know Lea know she is the epitome of kindness, and would do anything to support a friend (or stranger) in need. With this GoFundMe, we’re hoping to return the favor of all the light she’s brought into our lives and provide support to the family for their various needs including medical expenses for Lea’s current and future expenses, care for their two young daughters Emma (4) and Charlotte (4 months), and meals, etc. for the family. While we don’t yet know the full extent of Lea’s future needs, anything we can do for the Etzl’s will be greatly appreciated.
