Support Matt DeVore's Heart Recovery Journey

My name is Rachael Hoffman and I am creating this Go Fund me for a very close family friend who was diagnosed with an enlarged heart and heart failure in 2023. Our buddy Matt DeVore was found unresponsive in the early hours of Sunday morning February 2nd, 2025 by his significant other Robin. His son Matthew administered CPR while on the phone with 911 and waiting for them to arrive on the scene. His daughter Bailey (lives in Missouri) immediately headed up to here once she got the call and has been by his side along with the rest of the family ever since. Once 911 arrived they had to do 3 rounds of epinephrin to bring him back; then he was transported to a local hospital where he is still currently in ICU. He was found to have an enlarged heart, had an Acute Bilateral cerebellum stroke, and a heart attack with 70% blockage; his EF of the heart is less than 15%. He had surgery to put a stent in on Friday 2/7/25 and is set to have another surgery to have a defibrillator put in soon. He still has a very long road to a full recovery with having lots of PT coming his way and lots of restrictions as well as being out of work. All funds raised will go towards helping Matt and Robin pay bills as he will be out of work for awhile and medical bills accrued.
