Support Matt Burson, Our Community Hero

Well, I hate to even have to set up this Gofundme but one of our own is in need of help. We all know our sweet Matt Burson (I’m sure at some point Matt has touched your life either personally or medically through his front line and psychiatric nursing). Just a handful of years ago in the middle of the night, he crawled into a burning building as a civilian and saved a family. He sustained lung and skin burns but didn’t complain once! That is Matt.

He was just diagnosed with terminal renal cancer with a short period to get his affairs in order and perhaps take his kids on a trip to the coast (he still has THREE minor children). This man has been a rock in our community. He is always the first to jump in help and has been an incredible and solid human to his community, friends, family and his four children. I remember having a dinner with Matt and a man collapsed right next to our table. Matt attended to this elderly gentleman until the medics arrived and then sat down to finish his meal like nothing major just happened. I want to give him this gift of funds to allow him to accomplish what he needs during this difficult time. We, of course, are praying for a miracle! We never want him to leave.
