Hello, my name is Mary. Matthew Hillman is my son-in-law. On Thanksgiving weekend, Saturday, November 30, Matt was driving his 2-wheeler YZ450 along the Sand Hwy in Glamis, California. He was heading back to camp from watching the drags when a lady in a white Chevy pickup truck cut him off to make a U-turn. Matt went into a drop, flying off a dune. He was flown to Desert Regional Hospital in Palm Springs, where he sustained a broken pelvis with hemorrhaging and a broken left wrist. He went into surgery at 1 PM today. We ask for many prayers as Matt will have a long road ahead to recover. Matt is a loving father of two and a great husband. He is the sole provider for his family. He has health insurance to cover the medical bills. However, he will be out of work for some time. With prayers and any possible donations to help his wife Samantha continue to pay rent, food, formula, diapers, car insurance, health insurance, and monthly living expenses would be greatly appreciated.
