Matt Banger and his son, Fox, are cherished members of the Mead and Spokane communities and have touched the lives of so many through their kindness, generosity, and friendships.

Tragically, they lost their home and nearly all of their belongings in the Spokane fires. As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly difficult and overwhelming time for them.

Anyone who knows Matt knows he is one of the first people to help others and one of the last to ask for help himself. In fact, he has been extremely reluctant to accept assistance. However, so many friends, family members, colleagues, students, and community members have reached out asking how they can support him and Fox during this unimaginable time.

Matt is a dedicated teacher at Mead High School, and Fox is a student in the Mead School District. We hope to ease some of the financial burden they now face as they begin the long process of rebuilding their lives.
