Hi friends,
This is not something we ever imagined we would be in a position to write, but we are learning that sometimes you have to let people show up for you in ways you would normally try to carry on your own.
Over the past several months, Matt has been facing serious and prolonged health issues that require constant care, multiple doctor visits, medications, and ongoing monitoring. While we are incredibly grateful that he is improving, the road has been longer and more physically limiting than we anticipated. He is currently unable to work, and as his primary support, my ability to work has also been significantly impacted during this time.
In the midst of all of this, we lost our medical insurance. What was already a stressful situation has quickly turned into a financial strain, with medical bills, prescriptions, and daily living expenses continuing to stack up.
If you know us, you know this isn’t easy for us to ask. We are used to being the ones who figure it out, who push through, who take care of things quietly. But this season has stretched us beyond what we can manage on our own, and we are choosing to be honest about that.
Your support—whether through giving, sharing, or simply praying for us—means more than we can put into words. It helps relieve some of the weight we are carrying and allows us to focus on what matters most right now: Matt’s healing and getting back to a place of stability.
We are deeply grateful for any kindness extended our way. Truly.
With love,
Charly & Matt
