Hello Friends of the Baessler-Scott family,

Elizabeth “Liz” Baessler-Scott passed peaceful on Saturday, May 17th, 2025. Her journey through her cancer diagnosis was truly heroic, though we would not expect anything less.

So many of you have supported her through her medical treatments as well a much needed renovation for a first floor bathroom. This allowed her to stay at home for as long as possible and they are so, so grateful.

We are here for one final ask. Matt and Ayla are now navigating through to a new normal, and we are hoping to ease this new journey by setting up a fund to cover three main items:

1) Off-set memorial costs

2) Create a 529 Savings Plan for Ayla’s education

3) A vacation for Matt and Ayla this summer to begin making new memories together.
