Matt is not only my long-time friend, but also my podcast cohost and a dedicated advocate for the Autistic community. Earlier this week, Matt’s mother passed away. As he navigates this difficult time, I want to rally support from everyone whose lives he has touched—whether through his advocacy, our podcasts, or his professional trainings. Matt has always been there for others, offering guidance, compassion, and a sense of belonging to so many people.

Right now, Matt is facing this loss without in-person community around him and without the safety net of paid vacation or bereavement leave. The funds raised here will help cover DoorDash meals in lieu of a traditional Meal Train, making sure he’s cared for while he grieves. Any extra support will give Matt financial flexibility to take some much-needed time off work, so he can focus on healing without added stress.
