Support Mathilda's Family in Crisis

Hi,

My daughter's best friend and her family were in a terrible rollover car accident while traveling for summer vacation. Everyone had on a seatbelt, including the dog, but all four family members were sent to the hospital. The youngest child (Mathilda, age 9) was the most seriously injured. Even though she was wearing her seatbelt she was initially diagnosed with skull, temporal and orbital fractures and she had multiple lacerations on her head, foot and legs.

After being released from the hospital Mathilda had to be life-flighted to a different Children's hospital when she became nonresponsive and began having seizures. She is now in the pediatric ICU on a respirator after being diagnosed with streptococcus meningitis. As you can imaging this family has been through a lot! They are away from home and dealing with a gravely ill child. Any donations to help with medical and living expenses would be greatly appreciated.
