My son, Mathieuss Flores, has been bravely battling end stage renal failure for over two years. During this time, he has endured ongoing dialysis treatments, which have taken a toll on his body and our family. After a long wait and many challenges, Mathieuss finally has a living kidney donor and is scheduled for transplant surgery on Monday, January 12th. This is a life-changing opportunity for him, and we are filled with hope for his future.

While Mathieuss’s insurance will cover some of the medical expenses, there are many costs that fall outside of what is covered. We are facing significant travel expenses to and from the hospital, lost wages as we take time off work to care for him, the cost of medications that are essential for his recovery, and the need for extra help with caring for our girls during this critical time. These financial burdens add up quickly and can be overwhelming.
