Mathew and his family are facing unimaginable heartbreak after his wife, Donna, passed away in a tragic car accident on July 9th. Donna was driving with their 1-year-old son, Joshua, when a truck crossed the median and collided head-on with their vehicle. While Donna sadly did not survive, Joshua is now in the hospital in critical condition under constant medical supervision, suffering from head trauma.

Mathew is doing everything he can to stay strong for Joshua but the sudden loss and ongoing medical needs have created looming financial burdens. While the immediate need of support and care is being fulfilled, funds raised will help cover funeral expenses, medical costs, travel, household needs, and other expenses that arise as Mathew navigates Joshua's recovery and their family’s devastating loss. As they begin to heal, these funds will create a reserve, allowing Mathew to focus wholly on his son and grieving Donna’s loss without the added stress of expenses as they face the challenging months ahead.
