Mateo's Journey

On Wednesday September 4th my 2 yr old great nephew Mateo suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury due to suspected abuse that's is under investigation.

He was life-flighted to Pittsburgh Children's Hospital where he is in Critical but stable condition. He is on life support.

His little heart stopped at one point for two minutes and he received tube drains in both lungs as they had collapsed.

He is one of the most critical patients on the PICU floor.

He's made some progress and the doctors are hopeful and positive on his journey.

I am collecting funds for expenses and aftercare/future expense as this will be a very long road as we all remain hopeful. His future is uncertain but we remain positive that he will soon again smile.
