Support Mateo and Elijah's Move to Safety

Hello! My name is Mateo and I am here to request help for my boyfriend (Elijah) and me to be able to move out of Texas and Alabama.

Due to the recent election going in a way we didn’t expect, we have been forced to rush our move-out plans as we both are queer trans men located in very red states. It has taken a lot for us to come to this decision, but as people who already get discriminated against daily, we can’t imagine how much worse it’s about to get along with anti-trans laws rampaging, like the public bathroom restrictions and making gender-affirming care inaccessible even for trans adults.

I am a full-time college student (in the works of getting a job) and Elijah is working full-time after losing his job recently, which led to him losing his health insurance.

This donation money will be used to cover our apartment deposit and 4 months of rent, as well as our U-Haul price, as we will be aiming to move into Minnesota.
