Help Mataya & JC Rebuild After Devastating Fire

Last night, Mataya and JC experienced an unimaginable loss when the RV they were living in while in Hobbs was destroyed in a fire. The blaze began at the house next to their RV and quickly spread, leaving them with nothing.

Mataya, who is 22 weeks pregnant, had to run from the RV in just a t-shirt as the fire spread. In the process, she lost everything she had already purchased for their baby, along with all of her personal belongings. JC also lost nearly all of his jockey gear—essential equipment he depends on for his livelihood. In just moments, they lost their home, their belongings, and the sense of security no one should ever have taken away.

We are asking for donations to help them secure immediate housing, replace essential clothing and personal items, support baby necessities, and begin rebuilding what was lost. Every donation, share, and message of support makes a meaningful difference during this incredibly difficult time.
