Hey folks! Thank you for considering helping Mastro Mutts. For those of you who don't know who we are, we are dog rescuers (and sometimes cats and even bunnies on occasion). We opened this rescue in January of 2024 and to date, have saved a lot of dogs and puppies from euthanasia.

We mainly rescue from high-kill shelters that are overcrowded and euthanizing animals to make more space. From time to time, we also get an owner-surrendered animal who is losing their home. We also try to keep our rescue mission closer to home.

We absolutely hate asking for money, and we try to keep things running on adoption fees alone. But, many times, the actual cost of care for an animal outweighs the adoption fee, leaving us with a deficit.

During the winter months, adoptions tend to slow down, but the number of animals needing help never slows down.
