Support Master Splinter's Life-Changing Surgery

Hello everyone meet Master Splinter. He is the smallest Pitbull we believe in the world weighing a whopping 7 pounds at four months old! Master splinter was born not only extra small but has a group II cleft palette, a condition where he’s unable to eat on his own and would need to be tube fed every few hours till he’s of weight for surgery to correct the cleft platte . Meaning he can’t eat normal without aspirating , or catching Pneumonia.

The vet suggested Euthanizing him as most puppies with this condition don’t make it past five weeks old and the task of feeding him every few hours can be almost impossible with 2 full time jobs and raising two kids . But despite the odds he has a strong heart and strong lungs Euthanizing him was not going to be an option for our family SO despite the odds and being persistent on his feeding, not sleeping for months and taking time off of work we took the task on and here we are now four months later Master Splinter has passed all of his health exams from X- rays, blood panel tests, kidney & liver tests along with a clear 266 wisdom health panel test he is now Eligible for surgery.

For those who don’t know what a cleft pallet is, it’s basically a hole inside the roof of his mouth that goes down pass his tonsils making him not able to chew or swallow water, food without coming back up through his nasal passages which can cause bacteria infections, pneumonia and lead to death. Until this area is closed with a skin graft, he will have to be tube fed a minimum of every four hours a day for the rest of his life never being able to taste & enjoy food.
