I’m Mason Davoodi and I’m female to male transgender. I began to transition back in October 2023, and I’m excited to share that this September I will be getting top surgery! While this is a huge and affirming step in my journey, I haven’t been able to fully feel excited about it due to the cost. I’m very fortunate that my insurance will cover it, however, I’m still responsible for meeting a high deductible of around $7,000. I’m asking for help to cover these out-of-pocket medical expenses so I can focus on the surgery itself and not the financial stress attached to the price tag.
