Help Mason get to The R.O.C. aka The Regatta of Champions!

Hi, I'm Mason! I am an Opti sailor from the Midwest and have spent the last two years training all over the country with the goal of qualifying for the North American Championships in Puerto Rico. All the time, energy and hard work paid off and I did it!

I did well in Puerto Rico and was able to finish as the 4th North American sailor and win the Silver Medal with my Team Racing team. I was so excited and TIRED! Then a huge honor and surprise came when I was invited to attend The R.O.C. in Limassol, Cyprus this October! This was not something I ever dreamed of being able to do, but here I am!

I asked one of my very first and favorite Opti coaches, Marek Valasek, if he would accompany me to Cyprus and he said, "YES!" We are so excited to represent the US and especially the Midwest sailing community this fall. We couldn't do it without our village and I am reaching out to try and raise money to support the event. Between the travel, regatta fees, charters, accommodations, training days and more I know that this will be an event of a lifetime in more ways than one.

So along with ONLY 44 other of the best Opti sailors in the world we will have the opportunity to compete against and learn from these new competitors and coaches! We can't wait and would be so grateful for any support you could share.
