Help Mason's Heart Surgery Recovery
Donation protected
Hello my name is Jason, and this is my son mason, who is one of the strongest, wildest , and crazy kids I've ever met. From the day he was born (pre-mature) he's had atrial septal defect (ASD). Which means he has a hole in his heart most refer to it as a murmur. This usually goes away with time.
Unfortunately his did not. He's been very active, and a great student and child. he loves football and all things sports. Which he may very well never play again. Fast forward to earlier this year taking him in for a check up, they noticed heart condition has worsened significantly, they attempt to close the now large hole (18mm hole) in his heart and failed. This has lead us to a difficult decision to have open heart surgery. Which is now scheduled for June 12th. We are praying with all we have to get through this physically, but after that comes the financial side of it. Between a 10-12 week recovery, missing work, follow ups, and then the massive bill that comes from the part insurance doesn't cover.
This was extremely hard for me to put my pride aside for cause i don't like asking for help, I'm usually the one providing it. But if there is any way you can help at all, i know my son and I would be eternally grateful, at very minimum a prayer is all that is asked. Thank you all so much for reading and the support. #Taylor18
