1/24/26 9:35pm our whole world dropped from beneath us!

Our son Mason, our second of 5 kids, had gone to urgent care earlier that week and was diagnosed with a viral infection. They sent him home. After a couple of days he still wasn't feeling any better. He seemed worse even. Fever, bed bound, out of breath. All around weak and unwell.

Off to the ER he went.

We thought it was just gonna be another positive strep or flu test, dehydration on top of the viral illness, or Hell even covid! The diagnosis we got rocked us to our core and put our whole lives off balance in a way we never saw coming!

Our perfect boy was diagnosed with Leukemia.

Just 2 weeks ago he was practicing dance routines for competition, taking regular dance classes and going to school. It happened THAT FAST!!!

Unfortunately this is not the only issue our family is dealing with at this time either as Baby Bennett (our 5th) is also dealing with a scary grade 4 kidney issue. The only fix seems to be surgery when he gets bigger and preventitive antibiotics until then. Right now he is only 2 months old.

As if that is not enough, we have had no heat in our house during the biggest storm and cold front of the winter.

Please pray and send healing vibes, and strength to our family. This has been the worst week of our entire lives!

Although our heart and soul has been completely shattered, we are trying so hard to be strong for Mason. (But we need your help!)

Given the circumstances, Mason is doing as well as he can be and is in ok spirits.

He has started Chemotherapy and is currently on day 3!

When I tell you he has already amazed us with his resilience over the last few days, we really are in awe with how he is handling all of this so far! We are so proud of how strong, brave, and courageous he is!

We expect nothing else from our brave warrior now that he is faced with this fight for his life! He has always been such a strong child!
