My name is Mason Weber, and I have spent my life helping others as a licensed social worker and counselor, but now I am facing the hardest battle of my life with two cancer diagnoses after micro metastasis caused the disease to spread. I am being treated at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, where my care now includes palliative care, supportive oncology, and hospice teams to help manage the physical, emotional, and financial toll this illness has taken on me.
It is humbling and honestly embarrassing to be in this position because I have always been the one supporting others, not the one asking for help. I know times are hard for everyone, and it seems like so many people have their own GoFundMe pages right now, but my prayer is that God will send the right people to help me carry this burden.
Since my first diagnosis in 2021, I have endured surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, countless hospital stays, and now a second cancer diagnosis because of micro metastasis. My body is exhausted, the bills are overwhelming, and I have no family or friends who can financially support me in this fight. Even with insurance, the cost of treatments, medications, and daily living expenses is more than I can manage alone. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward my care, medications, transportation to appointments, and basic living needs so I can focus on healing rather than financial stress.
Your prayers, donations, and shares mean more to me than I can ever put into words, and my faith remains strong that God will move through the kindness of others to help me keep fighting.
