Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out on behalf of our dear friends Jackson and Natalie, whose sweet 7 year old son Mason was recently diagnosed with leukemia (B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia [ALL]).
Mason is a bright, energetic, and kind-hearted boy who loves rock & roll, legos, soccer, and making everyone around him smile. He is an incredible role model to his wonderful 4 year old brother, Kai. Even in the face of this diagnosis, Mason continues to show remarkable courage and positivity. His strength and laughter light up the room.
He’s now beginning an intense treatment plan that will include two years of treatment, with more than six months of chemotherapy and frequent hospital stays. Because of his treatment and weakened immune system, Mason will need to be out of school for about a year. During this time, Jackson and Natalie are doing everything they can to make home a safe, comfortable, and nurturing space for him to rest, heal, and keep his joyful spirit alive.
In addition to the enormous emotional and physical toll, the financial burden of medical bills, time off work, and daily living costs will be significant. So many have asked how to help. This is one meaningful way to lift some of that weight and allow them to focus on what matters most: Mason’s healing and their family’s wellbeing.
Your donations will go toward:
• Medical bills and hospital expenses
• Lost income during time off work
• Living expenses including food, gas, and childcare
• Making the home safer and more comfortable for Mason during his recovery, creating a space that supports his health, minimizes infection risk, and helps him enjoy life at home while he’s away from school
Natalie and Jackson are in constant communication with Mason’s medical team throughout the day, which makes it hard to keep up with calls and texts. They deeply appreciate all the love and support. For now, leaving an encouraging message here is a wonderful way to show your support and stay connected.
No amount is too small. Let’s rally around this amazing family and show them how loved they are. Thank you for your kindness, love, and support as Mason begins this journey toward recovery.
