After many years of dreaming, Masha and Pavel got to chase their dreams with their two children, Sofiya (13) and Eli (5), and move to Canada from Israel to have a peaceful life. They worked hard to make ends meet and get on their feet to continue to provide their children with the best possible life. Pavel worked nights while taking care of their son during the day, and Masha works days in a tailor shop. Unfortunately, after a year of living their dream life in beautiful Victoria, BC, Canada, Pavel was suddenly diagnosed with terminal cancer. Two months after, he died peacefully at home. As a foreign worker, Masha is left behind with two children on a single income.

We created this GoFundMe with the permission of Masha to help her raise money to alleviate any financial burdens during this time as she tries to get through these challenging times with her two children. The proceeds will go towards Pavel’s funeral, groceries, and rent.
