Hi friends!

I’m raising funds because my almost two year relationship turned abusive in October of 2024. I thought that I had been through worse and could handle it, I was very, very wrong. The abuse escalated and we ended up in a courtroom and have been living in a domestic violence shelter since April. Something that I didn’t anticipate being difficult coming out of all of this was finding a job and an apartment, but that by far has been one of the most difficult things because all of the “safe” apartments with keyed entries cost far more, but with no money, I can’t even begin to look for one. I’m coming up on the end of my time here at the shelter and I need help. School season is coming and I’ve been interviewing like crazy, but I won’t secure a position that starts until the beginning of September, so I’m looking to all of you. I need help securing security and first month’s rent.

Another thing that will be difficult is that I have to replace most of my things because I was forced to leave them behind after they were left outside in the rain and mostly ruined. I tried to take what wasn’t ruined but ran out of space for a lot of it, so I’m starting from scratch with a lot of things.
