Hello everyone,

My name is Candyce and I am writing on behalf of Mary. These last couple of months have been some really hard months on Mary as well as her loved ones. Back in June Mary began experiencing symptoms of fatigue, depression, confusion, and memory problems. Mary saw her doctor in the beginning of August and they ran some blood tests and discovered she had an overactive thyroid. She was put on medication and we all hoped that her symptoms would improve, however that was not the case and she was soon admitted to the hospital on August 15th. Mary was in the hospital for a month while doctors ran test after test in search for an answer on what was happening. Mary was discharged from the hospital on September 14th and came home to her sister, her mom, and myself. Mary has since had to go back to the hospital one time and was hospitalized again for a few short days. Mary has been unable to work for going on two months and has already applied for FMLA, but at this point has no income to live off. Thankfully Mary's loving family has stepped in and helped support her financially during this time but it is becoming increasingly difficult for them to continue doing this. We still do not have concrete answers but she is being treated for a neurological autoimmune disorder. Mary has a long road ahead of her and she is so appreciative of the outpour of love she has received from her communities. We are asking for donations to help her in supporting herself, because unfortunately bills and other expenses do not come to halt when life gets lifey.
