My name is Mary and within the last two decades, I have been on a medical journey dealing with a condition called Scleroderma.
Scleroderma is a group of autoimmune diseases. For some it is localized to the skin, for others it targets the internal organs.
My journey began when I spoke to my doctor and was diagnosed with Raynaud's. A blood vessel disease that limits blood flow to the affected areas. Generally in the hands. A few years later, I started to notice and then was diagnosed with CREST syndrome. CREST creates calcium deposits that grow out of the skin. In more severe cases, the deposit grow inward and go into the internal organs.
Down the line, I could lose the ability to eat and swallow food. Due to other factor and the fear of kidney failure, I am humbly asking for donations to help me pay off the medical bills. (Including hospital stays and dialysis)
