Support Mary's Dream to Race in Henley Royal

Hello all!

My name is Mary and I am fundraising to help cover the costs of competing overseas in an once in a life time opportunity! I will be racing the Henley Women’s Regatta June 21-23 with goal of qualifying for the Henley Royal Regatta two weeks after on July 2-7th of 2024.

This trip marks a very big celebration in my rowing journey. My love of rowing started back in college in 2004 where I primarily rowed larger team boats. In 2016, I started rowing a single and then began to chase the elite dream in 2019. I’ve traveled all over the country, challenging myself in very advance regattas with amazing competitors. In 2022 I moved across the country from Minnesota to California with goal of advancing my training. This past February I raced in USRowing’s Winter Speed Orders. Although I did not make Selection Camp, I refused to have my journey stop there. I set my eyes on a new amazing target —racing in the Royal Henley.

The funds will be utilized to help cover the cost of my flight to the UK, housing for 3 weeks, boat rental and race fees.

I am very excited for this opportunity to race in two very prestigious regattas and will be grateful and humbled by any support.
