Hi! My name's Mary! I'm a 21-year-old painter from Rhode Island. I was recently awarded the opportunity to attend an artist residency in France! It's called The Chateau d'Orquevaux Artists and Writers Residency in Orquevaux, located in the Champagne-Ardenne region of France.

This residency would allow dedicated time to practice my art while being inspired by some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. It would also give me the opportunity to meet many other artists.

While I am so grateful to have been accepted, it does come with quite the costly fee. It's about $2,800 after the grants I was awarded. Combined with the cost of a flight to get there, I am unable to afford it at this time. Which is why I'm on here, every contribution, big or small, will directly support my participation in the residency and help make this dream a reality!!
