Thank you for supporting MaryJo's Fight Against Cancer!
On November 7, 2024, MaryJo was diagnosed with Stage 4 Invasive Lobular Carcinoma (ILC) breast cancer. Despite regular semi-annual screenings, she was diagnosed with a breast cancer not easily detected on a regular mammogram and not visibly seen until an MRI mammogram. After multiple biopsies, it was confirmed that the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. After a CT and PET scan, cancerous lesions were also identified, showing the cancer metastasized to her liver, which was confirmed by a liver biopsy.
On November 24, 2024, MaryJo had her first chemotherapy infusion, which will continue every week for 6 months. We appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and support to cover the cost of medical bills, treatments, travel, and other financial costs to navigate this journey. God has placed people and events perfectly in our life to fulfill so many needs that we have been very blessed! It is hard to understand, but we continue to see God’s greater good unfold and come to light in His perfect timing through all of this uncertainty. We are blessed to be surrounded by such amazing people, and we appreciate each of you that have reached out to show love and support in various ways! Most importantly, we appreciate your continued prayers for healing, strength, comfort, and wisdom of the doctors to guide us through this journey. ❤️
