Hi, my name is Renee Falcioni, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my friend and coworker Maryellen Dickie, who is currently fighting the biggest battle of her life: cancer.

Maryellen was recently diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal & stomach cancer diagnosis that has turned her world upside down. What was once a normal, active life is now filled with doctor appointments, treatments, and moments of uncertainty. Despite the emotional and physical toll, Maryellen is showing incredible strength, facing each day with courage, grace, and hope.

But this journey is not one she can walk alone.

Between chemotherapy, upcoming surgeries, and the ongoing costs of care, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Even with insurance, out-of-pocket costs continue to mount — from medical bills and medications to travel expenses, lost income, and everyday necessities that are now harder to manage.
