After a lengthy struggle with kidney failure, Lester Smucker has passed away on Wednesday, November 26. He leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Mary K. Smucker, age 64.

The nature of Lester’s illness has left them without income for the past 8 months. Their savings is almost completely liquidated at this point.

Since a vehicle accident 4 years ago, Mary has been on a prosthetic leg, limiting her mobility. She has demonstrated incredible resilience with her limited mobility and long-term respiratory issues, caring for her husband and keeping up with household chores.
