On Wednesday, November 12th our industry lost one of its last remaining titans. Be it as an event promoter, vendor and/or attendee JB has been part of the comic con community since the inception of San Diego Comic Con.

JB ran Trek Expo in Oklahoma from 1991 to 2012, started the Men Behind the Mask tour, and vended at shows across the country under the name Times Forgotten until his retirement earlier this year. After retiring, he proudly became an ambassador for Jim Burleson at Albuquerque Comic Con and Santa Fe Comic Con.

Mary K, JB’s wife of 23 years was out of work the last 6 weeks due to the government shutdown and she could really use our help covering burial costs and other unexpected final expenses that she has incurred. Every penny counts.
