UPDATE: The hospital just called me and I have to have a $2000 deposit or they won’t do my surgery, any help is appreciated.

UPDATE: I had my first surgery today to get an external fixator (external rods placed in my bone to stabilize it untill the swelling goes down) I have my next surgery Wednesday 1/21/26 to take these out and install inturnal plates and screws. This has been very painful and difficult but I greatly appreciate all the love, prayers and support I have received ❤️ thank y’all so much

Hi, my name is Mary Jo. I am 30 years old and a mother of 4 beautiful daughters, ages 17, 11, 9, and 6. I am a self-employed hairdresser.

Last night, 1/12/26, I stepped wrong, rolled my ankle, and it tragically snapped. My mom rushed me to the ER, and they confirmed that I did, in fact, break my ankle in 3 places, and it will require surgery. I do not have health insurance, so this is very scary and going to be an expensive journey. I am hoping to raise money for medical expenses and bills. I am going to be out of work for a little while, hoping to get back behind the chair as soon as possible. I go see the orthopedic tomorrow to see what they think. I could use all the prayers and help I can get! This definitely wasn’t the way I intended to start 2026!

I need all the help I can get, and it will be much appreciated!
