Support Mary in Her Cancer Battle - Her Fight is Our Fight

Hi, my name is Jennifer DeVos.

On June 20th, 2024, my mother-in-law, Mary DeVos, received the news that no one ever wants to hear, after her colonoscopy.

Colorectal cancer was found during the procedure. Needless to say, this was a devastating blow to Mary and our family. For the past week, she and her husband Scott, have been trying to come to terms with the long road that lies ahead.

Mary is a woman of strong faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and God, our Father. Lots of prayers have been sent up and tears have been shed, since her diagnosis.

As she embarks on her fight against this horrible illness, Mary needs support now more than ever.

I am sure many of you reading this have had their own or a loved one's life touched by cancer. Not only is the emotional toll overwhelming, but the financial burden is debilitating, as well.

Mary and Scott were on a very limited income and had financial struggles, prior to her diagnosis. Needless to say, the fear of the exorbitant costs to get the treatment, that she is most desperately needing, is more than paralyzing.

We want to help take away the financial worry that Mary is going through, on how she will receive her lifesaving treatment, so she can focus on healing. Her husband, children, and grandchildren need her, here with us, so very much.

We love this woman, with all of our hearts. She has always given above and beyond to her family, friends, and her church.
