Welcome friends and family,
Our dear friend Mary was diagnosed with stage 2B invasive ductal carcinoma in her left breast on June 14th, 2025. As you can imagine, receiving this news at age 29 was, to put it mildly, a whirlwind of hell. In true Mary form, she continues to navigate this life-altering event with humor, bravery, and determination.
In order to begin her cancer treatment, Mary froze her eggs last July, underwent a unilateral mastectomy a month later in August followed by 16 rounds of radiation. A year later, reconstructive surgery approaches this fall. The support and encouragement she’s already received from you, her loved ones and community, has gone a long way, but there is a long road ahead.
We’re hopeful you will consider contributing (again or anew) to this fund to aid her through her ongoing recovery.
Your contribution will support:
Reconstruction surgery and associated expenses
Daily living expenses
Medical bills not covered by insurance
Loss of income during recovery
All our love and gratitude,
Julia and Amelia
