I am reaching out on behalf of my sister and her family for your support as they have faced an unfortunate situation. My sister and her family had planned to spend the holidays with our family in NJ. They decided to drive from Texas to NJ. They stopped in Louisiana overnight to rest. On the morning of Saturday, December 28, 2024, my brother-in-law Marvin Andres had a stroke and had emergency surgery at Ochsner Medical Center in LA. He suffered a basilar artery stroke. He was in the ICU up until yesterday. He was transferred to the step-down stroke unit as of today, January 15, 2025. He needs to be transferred to an inpatient rehabilitation center near their home in Richmond, Texas. Unfortunately, the insurance company doesn’t cover the ambulance transfer. With the significant loss of income and financial strain, we are asking for your help to ease the burden of paying for the ambulance transfer and any subsequent expenses related to his treatments and rehabilitation.

Transferring him closer to home and starting his rehabilitation will hopefully, and God willing, speed up Marvin’s recovery.
