Helping Marvin
Our family is facing a challenge we never expected. My father, Marvin, was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, and we’ve now learned that it has spread to his ribs, spine, and pelvis. As he begins treatment, the financial strain is growing quickly — medical bills, travel to appointments, lodging, meals on the road, and all the unexpected costs that come with fighting cancer.
For years, Marvin dedicated himself to the Alexandria Bay hospital, spending countless hours caring for others. He’s the kind of person who shows up for his community without hesitation. Outside of work, you could always find him outdoors with my brother, at the Bowling Alley catching up with friends, or surrounded by the grandchildren who mean the world to him.
Anyone who knows him knows how much he loves to travel. Exploring new places brought him so much joy. But with the mounting expenses, those moments may have to be put aside.
We’re asking for help to ease the financial burden so he can focus on what matters most: his health, his family, and the strength to keep fighting. Any support — whether through donations or simply sharing this fundraiser — means more than words can express.
Thank you for standing with him during this difficult time.
