Support Marvin Lewis's Heart Surgery and Recovery
Donation protected
My name is Jemma Bingham, mother of 4. I live in the USA. I have 1 son, his name is Marvin Lewis, 45, who is on the island of Trinidad and Tobago, and 3 daughters. I was a grandmother of 5, but my eldest grandson, who was 19 yrs old, was murdered 9 months ago. There were no suspects in the matter. He was my son's only child, and the grief has been extremely rough for him and the rest of the family. Every day is a challenge for Marvin, but he does it one day at a time with the help of the Lord.
On Friday, February 21st, 2025, my son Marvin arrived home from work complaining of chest pains, pains going down his left arm, and sweating profusely. His girlfriend asked him why he was sweating like that, and everyone in the household realized something was wrong. There was no time to spare. His mother-in-law had nitroglycerin at home; 1 tablet was given to him to place under his tongue, and they called the ambulance. When the ambulance arrived, Marvin was unconscious. He was rushed to the hospital; he suffered a major heart attack.
His diagnosis is grim, and he was hospitalized for 7 days.
All diagnostic tests were done: echocardiogram, blood screening, and Cardiac Angiogram. Two major blockages were found in the heart.
I am doing the GoFundMe to collect donations so he can get his necessary surgery, his aftercare in the hospital, and living expenses. He is on a strict dietary regimen, walking exercise only, no running or jogging, and no driving or flying in airplanes.
Unfortunately for my family, the healthcare in Trinidad is not up to international standards, being a third-world country. My family and I decided to consult with a cardiac surgeon in a private hospital on the island to get the surgery done. As we all know, private medical care is not cheap, so we are asking anyone willing or able to donate out of the kindness of their heart to please assist my son Marvin so he can get his surgery. Thank you!
So Marvin can once again enjoy good health, donations for his aftercare expenses and cover his living expenses while he recovers after surgery.
We are asking for financial help for this unexpected medical illness. We are grateful for everyone who is willing to donate, whether small or large; it will make a difference in Marvin's life so he can continue with the purpose God has for his life.
Many blessings to everyone. Thank you.
With special regards,
