Support Marvin Brown's Stroke Recovery
Donation protected
Marvin Brown has made such a positive impact on so many people now it's our turn to return the favor and support our dear friend Mr. Brown.
On February 22, 2023, Marvin suffered a stroke while at his home in Maryland. He was rushed to the hospital where they had to remove blood clots that were in his brain. He was in the hospital for nearly a month until mid-March 2023 when he was transferred to Layhill Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. He is still in the rehab facility and it is unclear when he will be well enough to transition back to his home with his family. He can't speak and does not have use of one side of his body. He needs our help.
Marvin Brown has lived many lives. He was a stage manager for theaters in NYC. He spent years traveling the world sharing Master Puppeteer artistry with many different cultures. He supported countless children, teens, and adults with disabilities throughout his time at numerous nonprofits including SAIL, WVSA, SJCS, and many others. He mentored so many staff, colleagues, and friends. He was always there to lend a hand, whether that was just to be a listening ear, or whether that was to hand someone in need money for train fare.
Any support you are able to give will go directly to pay for room and board at Layhill Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing and any other medical bills.
His family appreciates all the love and support they have received and thank you in advance for your help.
