Support Marty LaRocca's Memorial Expenses

On February 7, 2026, Marty LaRocca passed away.

After suffering a severe diabetic coma during the first week of 2026, Marty fought incredibly hard and, against all odds, was able to recover more than doctors ever expected. While he did regain some strength, the coma caused significant brain damage that permanently changed his way of life. As if that were not enough, during his treatment in the ICU, doctors discovered a mass in his lungs, which was later diagnosed as stage 4 lung cancer.

None of this stopped Marty from trying to be there for his family. After being released, he put in tremendous effort every day by attending physical therapy, speech therapy, and countless doctor appointments, doing everything he could to explore treatment options and regain as much of himself as possible. Marty was a true warrior, but with so many devastating conditions compounding at once, his body could no longer endure the fight, and he was taken from us far too soon.

Marty and his wife, Kathy, shared 32 years together. He was her husband, her love, her protector, and her best friend. He had a daughter, Juliana, and three stepchildren he raised as his own: Kristina, Jennifer, and Scott. If there was anything Marty loved more than his children, it was his eleven grandchildren, whom he absolutely adored and who adored him just as deeply in return. His family was always his greatest priority, and he never left any doubt in their hearts about how deeply and unconditionally he loved them.

Everyone who knew Marty knew what an incredible soul he was. He always put others before himself, even at his own expense. Marty was loved by many and will be profoundly missed. He did not deserve the hardships he endured. This fundraiser is to help support Kathy with memorial expenses after facing overwhelming medical costs in the fight to keep Marty with us. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping Marty’s family in your thoughts and prayers.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the love, kindness, and support you have shown during this incredibly painful time.
