Support Marty Lee's Road to Recovery

Hi, my name is Judy Hickey.

I am organizing this fundraiser for my son Marty Lee. Marty is a commercial fisherman out of Cortez, FL and has always worked hard to support his family. He is the kind of guy that would give someone the shirt off his back if they were in need. Marty and his family are now in need of help.

Marty was just released from the hospital after a 3 1/2 week stay. Upon arrival at the hospital he was in septic shock, requiring ICU care. Over the ensuing hospitalization he required numerous procedures, including open heart surgery. As a result, his rehabilitation is expected to be about 8 weeks, wherein he will not be able to earn any income. This has generated a considerable amount of hospital bills and out of pocket expenses.

Additionally, Marty and his wife Dawn are raising their 6-year-old grandson and have legally adopted him. They have also just recently purchased their first "forever" home.
